"I'll Be The Rain"

This is a tune I wrote in 2008 for vocal and several synthesizer parts. I think it's fair to call it an electronic ballad. It moves relatively slowly and has a mellow feel in terms of musical texture.
The lyrics are about someone who hates her/himself, and feels out of place wherever she/he goes.
The tune has simple, repetitive chord changes. They are basically a cycle of four chords, and the cycle gets modulated into other keys in the chorus section.

The "A" section is the verse section where the vocal does the rap, and the "B" is the chorus section where the vocal sings. In "A" the cycle of four chords (
BΔ7 - A#m7 - G#m7 - F#Δ7) repeats 4 times. And at "B", the cycle remains mostly the same, but slides down a whole step to begin itself with
AΔ7. Then after completing itself once, the cycle now moves further down a whole step to begin itself with
GΔ7 this time.

This is the interlude section, after the 2nd chorus and before the synth solo. The tune now employs a completely different set of four chords,
AmΔ7 - G13 - FmΔ7 - Eb9.
(Lyrics)
(Verse 1)
Gazing out the window
Since almost two hours ago
You wonder what went wrong
It feels like you don't belong
An outsider, hang glider
Stuck in mental disorder
All you need is a friend
With a comforting hand to lend
But oh boy, how rare
To see anyone who even cares
Suddenly life is a mess
An awful thing full of stress
You can't even think straight
Your mind is in a horrible state
Yesterday was calm and warm
Now your brain is in a storm
(Chorus)
I'll be the rain to feel your pain
When suffering remains sustained
I'll be the sea to which you flee
When broken heart remains to be
I'll be the rain to feel your pain
When suffering remains sustained
I'll be the blow to help you flow
When gloomy thoughts refuse to go
(Verse 2)
Walking outside on your own
Feeling so stiff like a stone
Everyone looks like a stranger
Even looks like your challenger
You try to keep your head up
But you sense you have no backup
Something inside is aching
And an old wound is waking
You don't wanna cry in public
Don't wanna be melancholic
You think you were defeated
And realize you were conceited
The notion's very obsessive
All the thoughts are retrogressive
This seems like a tough case
You're falling from grace
